I am dedicated to helping people feel better by discovering what they may not have realized is causing frustration, depression, anxiety, or other painful feelings in their social and emotional lives. If you are experiencing stress or uncertainty and decide to work with me, I will start with the assumption that your discomfort is a symptom that something needs to change. Then together we explore your unique history of life experiences, emotions, thoughts, behavior patterns, and significant relationships. Our discussions can help you to identify what is meaningful and true for you, and what may be maladaptive, outdated or unrealistic, so that you can focus on your most important goals and avoid or let go of hindrances. Once values, goals and obstacles are clarified, I find that most people are ready to let go of things that aren't serving them well, and know just what they need to do to move forward.
